“ Found this friendly coffee spot near Massapequa Park train station. They had quite a selection of specialty coffees, but I went with the chai latte with oat milk, and I must say, I absolutely loved it. ”
“ I can't believe I have never reviewed the Perk before. If I could rank this 1000/10 I would. I have been going since the shop opened and I was still in high school. The original owner, Lucky, used to chat with us about his decoration ideas, the coffee beans, etc. He affectionally called us the Hot Chocoalte Club as must of us had yet to gain a taste for coffee. I have been going ever since and even as it has evolved it remains my all time favorite shop. As I learned to appreciate coffee it became my go-to for a truly good cup. I came to review today because it truly helped save my morning. I ordered coffee from a certain multimillion dollar corp because it "had a drive thru and would be quick". What a mistake. That cup was all burnt coffee and water. I knew I HAD to go to the Perk to remedy my grave mistake. The first sip reminded me why I shouldn't go anywhere else. My only two things I wish they had were: later hours (I tragically get out of work right as they close), and that they had kept the small alcove in the back with the couchs and arm chairs. It was so cozy there. But if those are the only bad things I have to say about this place, that speaks volumes. If you are looking for a proper cup of coffee where the baristas don't scorch the the milk and the coffee is never burned, this is the shop for you. I could go on and on about my love for this place, but go try it for yourself and see what I mean! Thank you for all the years of delicious coffee. ”
“ This place is cute, their coffee is amazing! I got an iced latte with amaretto and cherry syrup. It was so good that I came back in for seconds definitely get a 32 oz size if you're a coffee lover! The staff is so sweet too! ... ”

Had to catch a train in less than 5 minutes from when I got through to the counter and they still managed to make the perfect temperature Hot Cocoa (hot but didn't burn) in time for me to catch the train. Their S'mores hot cocoa is the best hot cocoa I've ever had. ”
“ Love The Perk. It has become a staple of Massapequa coffee shops. The location couldn’t be better with the sight and sound of the LIRR, busy streets and abundant foot traffic. One step inside the door and you know you are in the right place! The smell is fantastic, you know there is serious brewing and grinding going on in here. I got a cappuccino that was robust and full bodied with earthy notes- delicious. I grabbed a pound bag ( very reasonably priced) to take home and experiment with. Both the Baristas were pleasant, knowledgeable and worked very quickly. The Perk has never been empty, a line of customers is a sign of good product and service. Today did not disappoint. Great job to Pete and all the Baristas at Perk! I will be back again and again. ”
“ My favorite go to coffee spot!! Great coffee for great prices, the people are all so friendly and cheery, and even the variety of bagels and muffins they have are delicious. This is the coziest place there is and I will forever go here for coffee. My usual orders are hot Nutella latte and cold grasshopper latte, which I definitely recommend. Haven’t tried the teas yet but I’m sure they’re just as amazing. Ahhh I love this place so much. Would recommend anyone who’s nearby to stop by! ”
